About me

avid is my name, born and raised in Israel. After a two-year backpacking trip to India, Europe, South America and Mexico, I returned to Israel and graduated from Film at Sapir College in 2011. Then, I moved south of Tel Aviv near the central bus station, and I began working as a cameraman for Walla! news and Greenpeace. Like other film uni colleagues, I moved to Berlin. After learning German, getting the TestDaF, and doing a media design retraining (Mediengestalter Bild und Ton Umschulung) at the IHK,  I worked with VPTV Vollrpogramm in production and as a content editor and through 2024-2025, I did a Production Traineeship at the filmArche.
